For some fairs, RTDStudio is delighted to announce a paper arts and book arts collaboration with our associate, Jen Minnis, who also does paste paper coptic stitch books and the fine craft of Scherenschnitte, paper cuts with a historic tradition and contemporary craftsmanship and design.
You'll find a gallery of her work, including the scherenschnitte, here at Jen Minnis. We have had a great time demonstrating our joint craft of paste-paper painting, and sold sheets and collage packs of gorgeous papers. We've developed a Coptic Book-making Kit with complete directions and all you need to learn the coptic stitch, the oldest form of creating the familiar shape of a book, so you can learn the time honored tradition of bookbinding. $15.00 for a kit with instructions and tools to make a 5.5" x 8.5" coptic stitch book.
